Livia Scott is a classically trained character actor and comedian whose range of complex and original characters has made her one most recognizable faces in the world of New York alternative comedy.
Her credits include Late Night With Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central, College Humor, MTV, AMC, CNN, The Onion Radio Network, The Atlantic Theater Company, The Roundabout Theater Company, The Culture Project and MEAT, the most popular and critically acclaimed all-female sketch comedy show in the U.S., headlining everywhere from UCB, The San Francisco Sketch Festival and the Comedy Central Stage in Los Angeles while being touted by critics as "One of the nation's best groups" –THE ONION.
Her latest sketch project is the highly anticipated MEAT spin-off, “Dirty Jeans & Thunderchief,” with Elizabeth Ellis.
Also nominated by readers of The Apiary for Best Performer of 2006, the ECNY Awards for Best Emerging Comic of 2008, Best Solo Show of 2008 (for “Goodnight O.J.”, her stage adaptation of real letters written to O.J. Simpson) and a really super duper important person, Livia has been featured in Time Out New York, Gawker and The New York Times.
Most recently, she proudly joined the writing team and cast of Shoot The Messenger, helmed by Lizz Winstead, co-creator of The Daily Show, and this fall she will be pulling a Peter Sellers by appearing as several different characters in the upcoming feature film, National Lampoon’s Dirty Movie, directed by Christopher Meloni.
